just go to Settings, Phone, Phone Mgmt, Device Updates, and got to Options, Check Updates, just select Yes to whatever question and it will begin downloading (through 3G, GPRS, WLAN). then it will restart the phone automatically and begin updating, and after finish updating, another restart will happen. dont panic. after everything is finished, it will prompt out Update Completed. and its done!

dial *#0000# and select Options, Check Updates and follow the above instructions
OR
you can use the Nokia Software Updater to update it. follow my instructions in my blog. search for Nokia Software Updater using the box located above my blog on the left hand side.

so whats new with v30?
ReplyDeletetheres not much changes actually, just some color cosmetic change in dial pad, messaging. thats what i noticed. they mentioned the v30 is mainly focused on fixing bugs, and patches
