WebUpdater from here. then install it (just keep pressing Next...). you can connect your Garmin device beforehand, or when the installation program asks you to connect it. Note that this will then update the device firmware, software, help files, voice, languages, etc to the latest version that Garmin has. This could fix some problems like instability of GPS lock, or GPS hanging problems.
For those of you who has some problems detecting your nuvi device when connected through USB to PC, i would first suggest you to install
USB Drivers from Garmin. If it still fails to detect your device, i would suggest changing your USB cable. you can get them easily through Ebay, just look for usb cable mini. thats it!
